NaNoWriMo at Stanford

Join the quest to penning your own novel this month with the Stanford Storytelling Project and Cecil H. Green Library!

National Novel Writing Month, otherwise known as NaNoWriMo, is an annual, Internet-based movement where participants from all over the world write a 50,000 word manuscript during the month of November. Writers, both new and published, hype you during the process so you’re never alone during your creative endeavor.

The Storytelling Project and Green Library have created resources available to any writer during NaNoWriMo, from a reserved writing space in Green Library, to collections of inspirational quotes/stickers, to even some sweet surprises a little down the line. Make sure to sign up for the NaNoWriMo email blast so you can know what these surprises are! (Sign-up sheets to be placed on the NaNoWriMo email are in the binders located at the reserved table in Green Library.)

November is upon us, so start brewing your coffee, crack open those laptops and join us in this creative journey of novel-writing.
