Course Description: This workshop will provide an introduction to processing 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequences and microbial community analysis. We will use command line tools such as cutadapt and trimmomatic, and R based tools such as dada2 and phyloseq, though others will be discussed. Some scripting in a Unix/Shell environment, and use of R, is recommended.
